Follow my journey as I get ready to run my 10K.
I have one month to get ready! I am doing this workout on my own and not following a specific running plan. I am not starting out as a “from scratch” runner, but I am not anywhere near being able to just go out and run 6 miles! I took the winter off, which I am totally regretting now! Yikes!
Tues, Mar 8th: Treadmill – 5 min warm-up, 2 miles at a 6.1 pace, 5 min cool-down
Weds, Mar 9th: No running today. 30 minute yoga + taught 2 Jazzercise classes
Thurs, Mar 10th: Quick 20 minute treadmill run. I taught 2 Jazzercise classes in the evening.
Fri, Mar 11th: Treadmill – 5 min warm-up, 2 miles at 6.3 pace, 5 min cool-down
Sat, Mar 12th: Rest day
Sun, Mar 13th: 2.8 mile run; 25:46 time
Mon, Mar 14th: 3.7 mile run; 34:02 time
Tues, Mar 15th: 3.8 mile run; 35:34 time
Weds, Mar 16th: No running; taught 2 Jazzercise classes
Thurs, Mar 17th: No running; taught 2 Jazzercise classes
Fri, Mar 18th: Quick 2 miles; 17:33 time
Sat, Mar 19th: 3.5 miles; 29:32
Sun, March 20th: Rest day
Mon, Mar 21st: 3.8 miles, 34:10
Tues, Mar 22nd: 2 miles, 17:10
Weds, Mar 23rd: No running, taught 2 Jazz classes
