Live Lean Workouts

Well, hey, friends!  It’s nice to be back!

I took a little hiatus that was totally unexpected.  Remember my last post?  I said I had caught some type of cold and just planned on feeding it some chicken soup and Vitamin C to make it go away.  Well, that little cold turned out to be the flu in combination with a sinus infection.  I have been down and out for a week now and I am still trying to fight it.  Usually, if I get sick, I feel bad for a day or two and then I’m on the mend.  Not this time, though.  I have been completely knocked down and no matter what I try, nothing seems to help.  I may have to give in and see a doctor, however, I’m still holding off on that.  Every morning, I open my eyes and hope that I feel better.  No luck yet but tomorrow is another day!

On another note…my workouts have definitely suffered during this past week.  I taught two Jazzercise classes last Thursday night and it took everything I had to get through them.  My voice was gone and I was exhausted by the time I was done.  Since then, I have been trying to rest and give my body the time it needs, however, last night, I knew I just needed a workout.  Last week, I was given the opportunity to try out the Live Lean Meltdown workouts from Brad Gouthro.  Brad is a fellow Fitfluential Ambassador and is an amazing personal trainer that is also certified in nutrition and wellness.  Check him out!

Anyway, like I said, I had the opportunity to try out the new workouts that Brad has released.  The set contains the “Main Event” workout, which is about 30-minutes long and eight other Tabata workouts that can be completed in 4-5 minutes!  I decided to go with the 30-minute workout and let me tell you…it’s a killer!!  My heart was pumping as soon as we started and didn’t stop until the very end!  Brad does a great job of combining different types of cardio moves like jumping rope, agility drills, and plyometrics.  He also throws in great core exercises that really make your abs work!  The best part is that all of the workouts can be done in the comfort of your own home…so there can’t be any excuses for not getting a workout done!

Even though I wasn’t feeling 100%, I pushed myself to finish the workout and I’m so glad I did!  It felt great to do some cardio again and I’m hoping that all my sweat carried some of the sickness out of my body!

(thumbs up to the workout!…and what is up with my hair!?)

Right now, Brad is offering a special on his Live Lean Meltdown 9 Digital DVD Home Cardio Workout Program!  The program officially went on sale yesterday and is being offered at a 40% discount and will continue to be discounted for the next two days!  I highly suggest heading over to Brad’s site and the Live Lean Meltdown site to check it out.  If you love cardio, you will definitely love these workouts!

I’m hoping to be able to get back to my normal self and my regular workout schedule soon!  I have to teach double Jazzercise classes on Wednesday and Thursday so I’ll probably take today as another rest day and try to jump back into everything on Wednesday.  I can only hope to be feeling better…if not, I guess it will be off to the doctor.  Ugh.

Have a wonderful Tuesday, everyone!

With much Love and Laughter,
Kelly

Something to share:  Do you try to fit in workouts when you do not feel well?  Do you push yourself or try to take it easy and give your body the rest it craves?
