Hi Friends!
TGIF, that’s for sure…
…I just wanted to stop by quickly today to say hello to all of you and to ask you a little favor for today. Last night, right as I was finishing my second Jazzercise class, my dad called me. I missed the first call but, then, he immediately called back. That is never a good sign. I answered and my dad handed the phone to my mom and she informed me that they were on their way to the emergency room.
Ugh.
She sounded fine so I didn’t panic…I just told her I was just about to leave my class and I would meet them there. When I got there, they had already taken her back to a room and the doctor was already speaking with her. I guess when they got home from dinner (their anniversary was Wednesday) she felt her heart start to beat irregularly. She had never felt anything like it before and, even though she was not experiencing any shortness of breath or any other symptoms, she decided it was best to head to the hospital.
As of the time I left last night, her heart rate had stabilized and they had done blood work and a chest x-ray and everything appeared normal. They planned on running more tests overnight and monitoring her heart. She was in good spirits when we left and we are just hoping things turn out okay!
If you guys could just send some prayers and good thoughts our way, I would really appreciate it!

Aw, I hope everything is ok! 2 years ago (right before we moved) my father in law had something similar happen while he was at work and they actually had to use the paddles on him just to try to get everything normal again (which it worked) and they deemed it just a “weird thing that happens sometimes” and all was well, even after that he had a bunch of heart tests done and everything was fine.

Thanks for sharing! They said her blood pressure was a little high but that it was a random thing, too, that could happen anytime! Still scary, though! Glad your FIL was okay!
