Hi friends!

…this “Six Things Saturday” post was born out of a “Five Fact Friday” post that was supposed to go up yesterday.  I’m not sure what happened to my blogging for past two weeks.  I usually have a pretty busy schedule and I seem to always keep it together and find time to get posts written, but these past couple of weeks, I have found myself coming home and the minute I sit down, find my head bobbing and my eyes closing.  I have been absolutely exhausted!  Maybe it’s a lack of sleep that is finally catching up to me…I have no idea!  All I know is that I have no plans this weekend and I’m perfectly fine with that.  I don’t plan on leaving my house.  Sometimes life just calls for those kinds of weekends.

Anyway…here are the facts that I wanted to share yesterday…with one added in to make it six for Saturday!

1. Today is the first day since Tuesday that I was able to put pictures in a post.

 

I’m not sure what has been wrong with my computer but I couldn’t find any of my pictures! I would upload them to PhotoStream and they would not show up! I tried uploading from a camera card and I still couldn’t find them. I tried everything and had no luck. I sat down to write this post and, guess what?…pictures appeared! Technology will always baffle me.

2. The weather here in Western PA has been crazy.

We go back and forth between snow, ice, and freezing to forty degrees and sunny. Sometimes, it will be snowy and the roads will be bad on my way to work, then, the sun will come out and it will get semi-warm and, then, the winds will blow and it will be snowing again. Getting dressed in the morning is never easy!

3. Speaking of getting dressed…I will forever be that girl that acts like a tornado, flying around, throwing clothes everywhere when I do.

I never pick out my clothes for work the night before so I’m always scrambling around. I try to think up an outfit while I’m in the shower but, then, I’ll get out and not be able to find an article of clothing or, once I put the outfit on, I’ll think it looks terrible. Yesterday morning was bad. I try to leave every morning at 6. At 6:02, I was changing my pants. I need help.

4. I finally got new shoes.

I got a pair of Nike’s. I always want to try a different type of shoe, but always go back to Nike’s. I got my new pair for Jazzercise and I have been loving them so far!

5. I want a cookie ice cream sandwich.

This last fact isn’t really life-changing or important. I found the picture on my phone and decided that today would be a good day to indulge. Not too much…Just one cookie sandwich’s worth. It’s okay. It’s Friday.

6.  I am a horrible blogger and missed my two-year blogiversary!

I can’t believe it happened!  I always know that my first post went up on February 18, 2011.  It was a Friday night and I was home alone on the couch with Je at my feet.  It’s funny the things we remember.  However, even though I thought about what kind of post I wanted to write all last month, I totally forgot when the day was approaching!  I think that’s my cue that my brain is becoming way too cluttered!  Oh well, I still plan to celebrate!  Maybe I’ll do a “Two Year and One Month” blogiversary to make up for it!
