Leg + Cardio Burner

Hi Friends.

I’m back.  I had absolutely no intention of taking a break from blogging, however, sometimes life throws little obstacles right in front of you and, all of a sudden, there you are, trying to figure out how you are going to get over that hurdle.

That happened to me last week at work.  Without getting into too many details, I’ll just say that I was already making my plans to quit and talking with Lee about how we would handle the situation.  After jumping to the worst conclusion and crying most of my evening, I decided that I was going to tackle the situation head on and deal with the co-worker that I thought had a problem with me…which is SO unlike me.  I hate confrontation and prefer to just run away from a situation (mature, I know).  Anyway, the next day at work, after much hesitation and the worst butterflies I have ever had, I pulled my co-worker aside and talked to her.  It was one of the best decisions I have ever made.  We cleared the air and I learned that there actually was no problem at all.  We even voiced some of the concerns that we had about each other and promised to work on them to make our office a better place.  I can happily report that since we had our discussion, our work days have gotten better and we have a new respect for each other.

Lesson learned: It is best to confront your problems instead of running away from them.  You never know how things will end and, chances are, they will end up working out in your favor and, even if they don’t, you know you tried your best to deal with whatever problem was lying in front of you.

With my week starting off on a very stressful note, I just didn’t feel like myself and couldn’t find the motivation to post anything.  I still took a lot of pictures and would plan on sitting down to type, it just never happened.  No apologies.  We all have those times and I’m just glad to be back!

Okay!  Enough of that heavy stuff!  Let’s move on to the stuff that is more fun!…like workouts that make your legs scream and your heart say, “thank you for taking care of me!”

I did this workout last weekend and had every intention of sharing it with you guys last week…which we all know didn’t happen.  Better late than never, right?

(As always, check with your doctor or a health and fitness professional before doing any new workout!  I am not a pro and only share what works for me!  Make sure you are doing things that work for you!)

Have fun with it and let me know how you like it if you try it!

We have a pretty big day at work today.  We are transitioning to a new electronic medical record system and today is Day 1!  We have had a few months of training and today is the real deal with real patients!  Wish us luck!

I hope you all have an amazing Tuesday and I’ll be back later to share what I’ve been up to this past week!  I enjoyed some time with friends, got in some good workouts, and ate some pretty amazing meals!  See you then!

With much Love and Laughter,
Kelly

Something to share: How do you normally handle problems?  Do you face them head-on?  Have you ever had to confront someone or deal with a problem at work?

I think taking a break every now and again is really healthy. I have been right there where you are at girl! I had a boss that I just didn’t agree with ethically and our work ethics were way different. I worked with it for 5 years! I prayed and prayed and prayed for God to move me. He did, just not when I thought He would…his timing is perfect though. He moved me at the right time and I have enjoyed my job so much ever since. With the move also came a relationship with the man of my dreams. :)
Glad your back and a killer workout!
