Hi Friends! Happy Thursday!
I’m not exactly sure where these past couple weeks of the new year have gone! How it this week almost over already!? This was my first week of working four days instead of five so I think the break in the middle of my week yesterday has me out of whack. Happy, but, out of whack.
Last night, I noticed that I had saved my 1000th photo to my phone. I took a quick glance back at what has been happening on my camera phone lately…
** I have been getting in some crazy late night workouts around here. I am doing the Turbo Fire 5-day Inferno Plan and every night calls for a workout that is approximately an hour long. For the past two nights, I have started the workouts close to 10pm…What the whaaaa? I’m pretty sure I should be getting ready for bed around that time!
** This is a picture of the corner of a dough-rolling mat that my mom gave me when I moved into my first apartment. It is from Tupperware and has various sized circles that can be used as guides to roll our dough to fit different sized pie plates. As you can see, the copyright is 1977. I get all nostalgic and think all kinds of cheesy thoughts when I use it. Thanks, Mom.
** I picked this up on a whim and really liked it. It wasn’t chalky and actually had a pretty nice texture! I’m always looking for ways to get extra protein into my diet and I definitely like this as an option.
** Speaking of protein, I’ve been trying to concentrate on throwing more lean protein into our meals lately. Lee was never a fan of fish but I just got him on the tilapia bandwagon. My next goal is to get him hooked on salmon so we can eat it more often. So far, it hasn’t worked. I won’t give up though!
** I seriously don’t know when I became a resting spot for my dogs. All they want to do is cuddle. I love it but, sometimes, it becomes difficult to do things when you have 160 pounds of fur laying all over you!
** Finally…photo #1,000 on my phone. Yesterday morning, my mom and I stopped in to visit my grandparents. After chatting for awhile over breakfast and coffee, my grandma brought out three old boxes. Two of them had old jewelry in them and one had old photos. I have seen these photos before but looking through them never gets old. I love looking at pictures of family members that I never got to meet and hear old histories and stories about them. The photos above are some of my grandpap when he was young…I think was the most handsome man! I feel very fortunate to still have my grandparents, who can not only show us these photos but, also, tell us the stories behind them.
I have the most random pictures on my phone but that always makes for a good time when I look back through them. A lot of them I take for the blog and then they never end up making it into a post! Well, they don’t until I do a ‘random photo’ post and then they can shine!…if that’s what they do?
Anyway. Today, I have a full day of work ahead of me and then two Jazzercise classes to teach afterwards. I think we have more new students and I’m excited to meet them!
Have a great day, everyone!
With much Love and Laughter,
Kelly
