TGIF, friends!!

I’m anticipating this being a pretty good Friday!  Tonight is my work Christmas party and this will be the first Christmas party with my new office.  I’m excited because I hear that it is really fun and there is quite the spread!  A catered party with delicious food?  Count me in!!

So…since you are here…let’s get to the facts!

1.  I love NASA, stars, planets, complicated math, physics…and really just anything related with outer space…

…which is why I was bundled up like I was in the Arctic to go outside and check out the meteor shower that was taking place at 2am.  NERD ALERT.

2.  I have been eating salads like it’s my job…

…I load up my fridge with fresh veggies and then find myself making a salad for every meal because I just want to eat them!  I just can’t get enough!

3.  There is nothing better than a house decorated for Christmas…

…sitting in my living room at night with the candles plugged in, the mantle garland lit, and a hot chocolate in my hand is my favorite place to be right now.

4.  I said I would never wear ‘jeggings’…

…and, yet, here I am.  Wearing a pair of salmon/burnt orange jeggings to work.  Now that I’m the BIG 3-0, I’m mature enough to admit that I was wrong.  I love my pants and I am not ashamed.

5.  Speaking of fashion, I bought new shoes…

…nothing else needs said about that.  It’s an awesome sentence all its own.

I hope you all have a fabulous Friday and have all kinds of fun things planned for this weekend!  We have a party, we are bringing our Christmas tree into the house, and we have dinner plans with my parents.  I cannot wait to get it all started!
