A Pirate’s Win!

Morning Friends! :)

Did you all enjoy your holiday yesterday? I hope you all had the day off and were able to spend it having fun with family and friends!

We started our day off pretty early by heading down to Pittsburgh to tailgate for the Pirate’s game. Lee and I had thrown around the idea of going to the game since we were both off and, Tuesday night, we found out that a group of our friends were going, so we hurried up and snagged some tickets.

We had the usual tailgate menu of burgers, hot dogs, and brats.

We had a really great time except for one tiny little situation…

It was hot.

Now, when I say hot, I mean ‘almost 100 degrees with not a breeze to be found’ hot.

I started off with a Pirate’s tshirt on my body and ended up with a Pirate’s tank after about an hour. I cut the neck out of the shirt and cut the sleeves off…with a pocket knife.

That’s class right there.

Besides the insane temperature, we had an awesome time!

Thankfully, the Pirates pulled out a win! After the game, Lee and I went to visit our friend, Josh, who took his first steps yesterday (honestly, the kid is the definition of miracle!!!). We then stopped by my parent’s house on the way home and were greeted with plates of strawberry shortcake.

We couldn’t have asked for a better 4th of July!!

How did you celebrate your holiday?
Do hot temperatures bother you or do you love them?
