Five Friday Favorites

Happy Friday!!  It’s finally here!!  :-D

Here I am with another edition of Five Friday Favorites.  Let’s check out the things that are making me happy this week!

1.  I got an iPhone

Yes.  I joined the cult.  Lee and I both had Blackberrys for so long and I resisted changing, but once he dropped his BB in water and upgraded to a Droid, I jumped right on the bandwagon.  I had an iTouch, so it was just a natural progression, but I’m obviously loving it!

2.  Rosie and Jet

Rosie is still living in our garage…we are hesitant to introduce her into the house.  However, we have introduced her to Jet and they seem to get along just fine!  We took them both for a walk earlier in the week, and things actually weren’t too big of a crisis!

3.  French Vanilla Cappuccino

My dad brings home industrial-sized bags of coffee and cappuccino from his company for us, and my mom passed along a big jar of french vanilla, my favorite flavor.  Not only is it delicious, but I’m obsessed with the pattern it made in the jar.  Sorry.  I get excited about the little things in life!

4.  Incubus

While I was at my parent’s house this past week, I found an old case that had the CDs I had when I was in high school and college.  Wow.  Talk about a trip down memory lane!!!  Listening to some of the songs put my right back to the times that I listened to them years ago!  I found four Incubus CDs and have been listening to them for the past couple of days.  It’s so different from what I usually listen to now, but I’m loving it.  I forgot how much I love their music!

5.  Swan Creek Candles

Swan Creek makes soy candles that come in the best and most delicious scents!  Right now, I have Gingerbread burning in my kitchen and it makes my entire house smell heavenly!  These candles are super fragrant without being too strong.  I have yet to find a candle that can compare!  Check them out!

Alright, friends!  As always, let me know what you’re loving!
Enjoy your Friday!

I have been obsessed with buying new candles for my place! If someone looked through my drawer they would think I’m a freak probably ;) That french vanilla cappuccino jar looks amazing! I like the looks of it today. It looks so neat swirled together like that. Coffee is my BFF in the morning. I want an iphone so bad, I can’t wait until my contract is over next month!

I love candles and I’m so picky because some are so strong and I hate to waste money if I don’t like it once I start burning it!

  3. Welcome to the iPhone club! Seriously– I never thought I would turn over, but I ended up getting one around September of last year. Now I can’t imagine life without it ;)

    Download Instagram!

  4. Welcome to iPhone world! I’ve had mine for almost a year and think I would die without it. (How sad is that). I went from a non-smart phone though.. and a whole new world opened up!

Hope you had a great weekend!

i agree with Brittany. get Instagram!! :)

  6. Beware! Criminal is such an amazing song off that album. The lyric “a prism with an intellect you throw your light selectively” has always been one of my favorites. While I tend to be more of a fan of the older-Incubus albums, I saw them in concert right after that album came out and they had a backdrop with animations of Brandon’s artwork from the album to go along with the songs. SO incredible. :)

Their lyrics and their deep interpretations always get me! I feel like I am in another universe when I’m listening to them…which, I know, sounds crazy!!
