Happy Friday, Folks! 
Are we ready for the weekend? I know I am! As of right now, I do not really have any plans other than help my mom with yard work at my grandparent’s house on Saturday…but, usually, when I don’t have plans, I end up having very busy weekends, so we shall see what materializes!
Let’s check out some of the things that are on my current ‘favorite’ list.
1. My new Pampered Chef grilling basket
C’moooon warm weather!!!….I want to grill! I have wanted a grilling basket for awhile now, and I’m excited to use it!
2. Easter Baskets
I am very fortunate to have wonderful people around me that make me cute Easter baskets. I am not a big candy eater at all and we never have it in our house, but I have to say, I am enjoying how I can just walk past my table and pop a peanut-butter cup in my mouth. I’m not burnt out on chocolate yet, but I feel it coming!
3. New flavors of risotto
It’s no secret that I would love to live in a castle made of risotto. I don’t know what it is about it…I just love the flavor, the texture, and the versatility of it! I can’t wait to try this!
4. Hard-boiled eggs and beets
Does anyone else eat these two things together? It’s a staple at our house at Easter. My grandma grinds and cans her own beets and adds a little dash of horseradish into them. I am not a fan of horseradish, but she puts in just enough that you can taste it but it’s not overwhelming. I am sad that these are my last dyed eggs. I know I can always make more, but beets just taste better with Easter eggs.
5. Random flowers that grow around my house
I don’t mind gardening and I plant my fair share of flowers and shrubs around my house….but flowers that just pop up and come back every year with absolutely no work? Perfect! I have three of these tulip plants right off of my porch that I forget about every year until I see them poking up through my landscaping. It’s always such a nice Spring surprise!

I love the random flowers that are popping up around my neighbourhood! Makes me so happy spring is here! Haha I love your colourful hard boiled eggs, you must get some nice stares with those
Oh a grilling basket?! I’ve never heard of that. What do you use it for? I can’t wait to grill either, so pumped to grill some veggies! Have a great weekend
You can use a grilling basket for smaller things like chopped veggies that would fall through the grates.
