Hey Guys!
I’m coming at you with a late post. I just wanted to share with you some of the deliciousness that I picked up at the grocery store tonight. It was an impromptu trip…in my sweaty workout clothes and all! I actually changed from shorts to pants in the car before I went in the store…but that’s not important. I’m just glad there was no one in the car beside me! Tonight at Jazzercise, the studio was an inferno! It was actually warm here today, but it was warm in that “it’s going to thunderstorm violently later’ kind of way. VERY humid. I’m pretty sure my fan was blowing air that was the same temperature as the air that comes out of my furnace in the winter. Ugh! Anyway, back to the groceries!
I picked up some of the essentials: milk, bananas, regular and Greek yogurt, pasta, chicken, and vegetables.
Oh, and…..a two pound canister of oats just for me? Yes, please!
Dear Oats,
I love you with all of my heart.
Love, Kelly
I also picked up some fun things! I got these spinach artichoke chips to try. I bought them because, basically, anything spinach-artichokey is right up my alley! I’ll have to let you all know how they are!
I also picked up these peanut butter stuffed pretzels for me Lee…
Lee’s last name is Anderson and I he just loves peanut butter so much. I simply couldn’t pass them up! I He will really enjoy them, I’m sure!!!
Of course, no trip to the grocery store (or any store, for that matter) would be complete without picking up some stuff for our favorite third family member.
I also had to buy batteries. Ugh. Batteries are SO expensive! I absolutely hate buying things like that. I put batteries in the same category as razor blades. WHY in the world are razor blades SO expensive! I feel like it’s half of my grocery bill!!! Okay, that’s a slight exaggeration, but nonetheless, they are definitely a big chunk of it!
Alright, enough ranting about batteries, razor blades, and the like. I’m getting fired up and there is definitely no need for that. It’s getting close to bedtime and I should be relaxing!
I hope you all had an amazing Wednesday and I’ll see ya guys soon with a quick delicious recipe!
G’night!!!
Is there any necessity that you absolutely hate to have to buy!? (example: batteries!!!)

Omg yes batteries and razors are so freaking expensive!
Just like coffee, why in the world is a bag of coffee like $9? Geeshhh
I want those pb nuggets O_O When I use to work at the Poison Center we had those in stock and my hands somehow found itself in the tub. I don’t even know how that happened
Notice that there is no coffee on my counter. I actually walked down the aisle and thought I should pick some up but was too cheap tonight! Haha!
I hate buying toothpaste. I don’t why though…I always put it off till the last possible moment. Hhaha when workout after work, I usually change in my car…I always find a spot away from other cars.
Yes! I only buy toothpaste after I have cut my tube open and have absolutely none left!
I see that you picked up some Pom. Delish! Always on my shopping list!
The thing I hate to buy — trash bags. So unsatisfying and such a boring purchase.
Agreed!

I hate buying a lot of essentials. My biggest hate is probably laundry detergent. It is so expensive! Ugh!
I love those PB stuffed pretzels.. haven’t had them in forever though – a former roommate was always stocked with them!
I hear ya on the laundry detergent!
I have a major love affair going on with oats too
I always say I’m buying those peanut butter pretzels for my hubby and you can guess who ends up eating them…
I hate buying pretty much any non-food items at the grocery store because they are always SO expensive!!
Yeah, I have a feeling I’ll be making a dent in the pretzels.
I hate buying batteries too and we seem to go through a ton! I also hate how expensive good laundry detergent is (TIDE, are you listening??) It almost IS half my grocery bill
Those chips look so good – I love spinach and artichoke together!
I feel the same way about Tide!
